Hello from London...
Hi all KKJs and NNPs (if you don't know what that really stands for... I'm not sure why you are even at this site, unless of course, you are under aged to know, and for your protection, I've been keeping it from you)
Stephanie and I have taken yet another break from school to take a more "relaxed" trip to London. The awesome thing is our hotel room does not come with a TV but a iMac that doubles as a computer, TV, DVD player and everything else into one. After our slightly delayed arrival, we were surprised our room was already ready before the usual hotel check-in time. We then headed to Leicester Square (one of my favourite spots in London) to look for some West End tickets. We got Tickets to SPAMALOT... guess who played King Arthur?? Shanjeev Bhaskar!!! Sounds familiar? YES the guy from The Kumars at No. 42! Between waiting for the show, Stephanie and I found it easy to occupy ourselves with the offerings of Oxford Street where I had my eye on an ANNA SUI dress.... but ...of cos... my powerful self-control forced me against making another impulsive purchase. Followed by drinks at Starbucks (where else right?) and an early dinner at a Japanese Restaurant (I've been craving Japanese since forever). Just before the show, we did my favourite thing - sneaking between the narrow tunnels of book shelves, ("saturated, chaotic... yet organized..) in second hand bookshops on Charring Cross. Everyone knows Andrea hates to read but the allure of second hand bookshops is far greater than a library or even a regular bookshop. I just could not help myself. I simply love this place.... Reminds me a lot of 7th & 8th Ave in New York. Sometimes I would forget the prices are in £... and assume them to be in US Dollars (I wish right?). Anyway, Stephanie is going to be out of the shower and it is going to be my turn to shower. I hope all of you take care during the peak submission periods. Lots of Love and Panties Andrea |
