Design -vs- Style

The Eames Lounge and Ottoman
has been such a design icon espcially when it made a regular appearance in the popular American sitcom - Fraiser.
If you can remember, the Eames lounge was strategically placed in Dr. Fraiser Crane's apartment, on a platform in the living room, perched next to a floor to ceiling window with the amazing backdrop of Seatle's skyline.
That was when I first learnt of
Charles and Ray Eames.







The video from TED, is a talk by their grandson, Demetrios. So many images from the presentation, juxtaposed to form wonderful visual compositions. And of course, eye candy...
