Bento & Co.

I miss bento-ing with friends at school...

Bento&Co is a French online shop which sells bentos and accessories from Japan and they ship to most places, including Singapore. Prices are a little higher but I think it is one of the only places you can find these items unless you go to Japan to get them yourself! Prices on their site are listed in Euros.

If you purchase a bento from them, take a picture and send them your bento meal to get 10% off your next purchase! They also have a bento blog to get inspired (but it is only in French!)

Digital Photography Never Looked so Analogue


I think this has got to be
one of the best iPhone Apps out there!



Even a lousy photographer, like myself,
can take pretty pictures on my iPhone
and make it look awesomely vintage.

Cheaper than a cool vintage camera
or even a remake of a Russian dead stock camera.
(but I still love my Lomos)

I heart Hipstamatic.

Made P E S T O yesterday
and had it for dinner today with some toasted baguettes and EVOO.

YUM.



Pesto

2 cups fresh basil leaves
1/2 cup grated Parmesan-Reggiano
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/3 cup walnuts
3 cloves of garlic
Salt & pepper to taste

Combine all in a blender or food processor.

In addition, I added about 8 black olives.
Which made it tastier.
Just remember to make sure the olives are pitted!!
(I ran into a little accident with my blender yesterday!)
